I had said last Monday that today we would take a look at the coming New World Order, so here we go…
We have been looking at the tremendous debt our country is in and how that we cannot possibly sustain it (Please see pervious Monday’s posts for that info). Where will it lead? What will happen when the United States of America falls? Many scenarios can be postulated. Many theories can be argued. We will look at one today that has been talked about for years and many people have seemed to ignored it.
In 1977, President Jimmy Carter recorded a message that was sent out into space aboard Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 in hopes that an alien civilization would find it and listen to it (Good luck with that one!). In the message he stated that the earth is divided into nations but that it is, “…rapidly becoming a single global civilization.” Did you catch that; “global civilization”?
President Bush Sr. spoke of the New World Order on several occasions. In 1991 he gave a speech wherein he stated, “What is at stake is…a big idea, a new world order, where diverse nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations of mankind: peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law.”. Two months later, President Bush Sr. again addressed Congress about the successful completion of the Gulf War. “Until now, the world we’ve known has been a world divided – a world of barbed wire and concrete block, conflict and cold war. Now we can see a new world coming into view. A world in which there is the very real prospect of a new world order…” (George Bush Sr., “Address Before a Joint Session of the Congress on the Cessation of the Persian Gulf Conflict,” http://bushlibrary.tamu.edu/research/public_papers.php?id=2767&year=1991&month=3).
In 2008, Henry Kissinger wrote, “Now that the clay feet of the economic system have been exposed…,this requires a new dialogue between America and the rest of the world…If progress is made on these enterprises, 2009 will mark the beginning of a new world order.” (Henry Kissinger, “An End to Hubris”, The Economist.com).
Just before President Obama was inaugurated, Mr. Kissinger spoke in a television interview, “The president-elect is coming into office at a moment where there are upheavals in many parts of the world…I think his task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period when , really, a new world order can be created. It’s a great opportunity. It isn’t just a crisis.” (Drew Zahn, “Kissinger: Obama Primed to Create ‘New World Order’”, WorldNetDaily. wnd.com).
Let this soak in and we will continue next week on this New World Order.
