Ten years ago I was pastor at Middlefork Road Baptist Church. What wonderful years we spent there. It was amazing to see all that God was doing at that church, in that congregation, and in all our lives.
Many things regarding Bible prophecy were coming to pass during that time. For example, after 1900 years of non-existence the Sanhedrin was reformed and has today become an important force in Israel. They are continuing with one of their primary projects, the planning for the rebuilding of the Temple.
Another example of what was happening during our time at Middlefork was the recreation of all the holy vessels to be used in the Temple. Everything from the Robes and crown of the High Priest to the Menorah were recreated in perfect detail. It can all be seen HERE at the Temple Institute’s website. I could go on and on about all that was taking place ten years ago that pointed to the return of our Lord…
But then it seemed to quiet down bit. For a few years it seemed not much was happening concerning the return of the Lord or the Rapture.
This causes some to question: When is He coming? Is He coming at all? 2 Peter 3:4, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Of course no one knows the day or the hour and the ONLY reason we are still here today is because of God’s Grace.
By God’s grace we went through a period of quiet regarding prophecy but look around you now. There is so much coming to pass it is difficult to even keep up with.
- Blood Moons
- The Shemita (Sabbath Year)
- Government (and common sense) upside down
- Blueprints for Temple near completion
- Training program for Temple Priests in place
- And so much more
My burden now, as it has been for years, is that the Church come to know who we really are in Christ. The power, the authority, the promises!
I believe and continue to pray for a great last-days revival. Acts 26:18, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me (Jesus).
All the cool prophecies, all the neat and interesting intricacies of the Bible, all these things we love to hear preached and taught are for naught if we do not lead people to our saving Lord Jesus.
Would you pray?
