Revival “Services” have come to a close at First Baptist Finger. It is my sincere prayer that it will not be the end of revival for all of us who attended.
I would like to say how much I enjoyed the spirit of this congregation. There was a spirit of freedom there that made preaching an exciting joy. Let me tell you, this church was not afraid to say, “Amen”, “Praise the Lord”, “Hallelujah”, or anything else the Spirit of the Lord laid on their hearts to say in agreement with the preaching of the Word.
Missy and I both so enjoyed meeting all of you. We were also so touched to see so many friends from Friendship Baptist Church come out to worship with us. They brought a sweet spirit with them, as well.
The Spirit of the living God moved last night and many tears were shed during the service and at God’s altar during the invitation at the end. I pray from the bottom of my heart that even though “services” are over, revival will continue in all of us.
1 Peter 1:3-5, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
