Revival in the Air

Praise the Lord!

We just finished revival services at Friendship Baptist Church and what a blessing they were.

The very first night, we prepared for revival by taking the advice of Gypsy Smith and drawing a circle around ourselves and praying God would send revival to everything within that circle. In other words, revival must begin with me and you individually.

The Holy Spirit began to move early on in the service and at the end of the service, the Spirit led me to have everyone who was able and willing to come to God’s altar with their Bibles and pray Psalm 51 out loud.

30 to 40 people filled the front of the church building and everyone of them began to pray Psalm 51 out loud at the same time. It was a beautiful sound and I promise you that God heard everyone of those who spoke those words in sincerity.

As the Word of God was returned to Him by His people, the Spirit began to be stirred up and from many, tears began to flow. I wish everyone reading this could have been there with us and experienced His presence that night.

The great thing is, we can all experience His presence and the reality of revival. As we speak out the name of Jesus, the devils of hell tremble and flee. As we practice walking in the Spirit, speaking to ourselves in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we really can walk in joy and victory!

Do you walk in the Spirit daily?

What does God have for you…just around the corner?
