The Day After

Well, it is the day after the election. My prayer is that the 40 days of prayer brought you closer to the Lord.
Whether your candidate won or lost, is not the point. The point is that we as God’s people draw close to Him and learn to trust Him with all our heart.
I’m sure that for most of us, in the flesh we are disappointed this morning. We know the following is true…
Yes, our enemies will see us as becoming weaker and weaker and the attacks on us will increase.
Yes, Obamacare will move forward, our dept will continue to  increase, and our nation will go bankrupt.
Yes, our government will continue to throw Israel under the bus, and wildfires, earthquakes, and storms of Biblical proportions will continue to hammer our country. You have to be totally spiritually blind not to have seen God turn Sandy right into the financial capital of the world.
Yes, homosexual marriage will become a reality in our country. I ask you to turn to the history of Sodom and the Gomorrah to see the outcome of that.
I could go on but I think you get the picture. In the flesh, none of it looks good. But I pray that we are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit.
In the Spirit, we see, through all these things, the return of Christ being eminent.
We should continue to pray that we, as God’s people, will walk not in the flesh but in the Spirit. I pray with all my heart that you, as a believer, come to know exactly what that means is these last days.
Rejoice, O child of God and look up for your redemption draweth nigh.
