Blessed Hope!

Romans 15:13, Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Do you ever read a passage or verse and dance around the house? Sometimes a passage, verse, or even a few words from the Word of God can trigger the Holy Spirit to touch you or speak to you in a real and exciting way.  I read this and did little shouting around the house. It may not speak to you the same way but I thought I’d share anyway.

What’s so good about it? Let’s see…

1. He is the God OF hope.

2. Joy and peace come from believing (Could you use some joy and peace? Start believing. Matthew 21:22, And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. How do you make yourself believe? Confess it over and over until it becomes a part of you. This is something the lord has been showing me lately.)

3. Once we believe, we will ABOUND in hope (Titus 2:13, Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ)!

4. All this, not on our own but through the POWER of the Holy Ghost (Do you know Him? Unless you do, your efforts will be fruitless. Acts 1:8, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:…).

Now smile and read that verse OUT LOUD. Read it again. Read it one more time. Read it until you are not trying to smile but you are smiling involuntarily. Read it until you begin to believe it. Read it until you get excited about what it really means for you in your life. Remember, confessing with the mouth and believing with the heart works for more than just salvation (Rom 10:9-10).

Now, what does God have for you…just around the corner?
