Trust in the Lord

I recently had lunch with a brother in Christ and part of the conversation turned toward waiting on the Lord. I urged him to break out his concordance and do a study on all the Bible has to say about waiting on the Lord.

I encourage you all to do the same. It relates to a need every one of us has.

The Bible has much to say about waiting on the Lord.

1. Because it is vital to our spiritual walk.

2. Because it is one of, if not THE, most difficult thing for us to actually put into practice doing.

We talked about King Asa this past Sunday and what he says below…

2 Chronicles 14:11, And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.

Oh that we would rest on God, both as individuals and as a nation. What a place it would be!

What does God have for you…just around the corner?
