Proverbs 2:1-5, My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Notice that it takes receiving God’s Words and hiding them in our hearts to even come to the place where we are inclined to seek knowledge and understanding.
Then we need to cry out for it. I mean real-in your closet-on your knees-abiding under the shadow of the Almighty-in your secret place kind of crying out. Thats where we find it…James 1:5, If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Crying out and seeking after it as silver and hid treasures. Wow, we work every day, several hours a day for those.
THEN…THEN…then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
Question: what could be worth more?
Lord bless you today.
