What is our public profession of faith? Our baptism? That is what many people are led to believe when they “join a church”. Stop and think about it. First of all, our baptism is not public. It is typically done solely in the presence of other believers who will not ridicule us, they will not make fun or persecute us in any way for following the Lord in this most important observance of obedience.
Our public profession of faith is just that…public. Not just once but every day. At work, at the grocery store, at the Dr’s office, every where we go.
Acts 15:3, And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
Declaring, declaring. With smiles on our faces and joy in hearts, letting people know that we are saved and how exciting that is.
Have you ever said to yourself, “I would never deny Jesus.”? The Lord has been showing me lately that if we do not declare Him, we ARE denying Him.
Make your public profession today and declare Jesus to everyone.
