What’s IN a Word?
Consider this passage carefully…
Psalms 12:6-7, The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Call me old fashioned, call me a Jesus freak, call me uneducated and ignorant…but I BELIEVE GOD (besides, if He can’t preserve His own Holy Word, that He said is magnified above all His name, Ps. 138:2, then what else can He not do?).
That said, notice it says “words”, plural. Not His “Word” in general, not the preservation of the basic Bible stories or of the general philosophy of love, not any of that new age hogwash. He says “words”, every one of them (every jot and tittle).
There is even importance in the difference between little words like “in” and “on”.
Do you remember your granddaddy talking about the Mark of the Beast and how it could be a tattoo or some kind of stamp on your skin, kinda like Hitler tattooed the Jews with in the Nazi concentration camps? That’s because they didn’t have our technology, they couldn’t see beyond what they had available to them. Until now the book was sealed up (Daniel 12:4, But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased).
You may agree or disagree and that’s fine, I still love you, but I believe the Mark of the Beast will be the RFID (radio frequency identification) chips that are already on the market. I’m not going to reprint everything here, just do a Google search for RFID, Digital Angel, sub-dermal chips, or something of that nature and you’ll get plenty enough on the subject.
It makes perfect sense, to me at least. With identity theft so prevalent in our world today, and with our privacy and freedom being slowly taken in the name of Homeland Security, and several other examples I’m sure you can think of yourself, doesn’t it make sense to have all our personal info, all our medical info, all our banking info digitally saved in a chip and planted right under the skin.
No more checks, no more check cards, no more worries about who you are or what you’re allergic to in case of an emergency and you couldn’t speak, and it’s all right there in your RFID chip.
So if this technology does, at some time in the future, become what we know as the Mark of the Beast, does the sub-dermal chip go ON us or IN us? (Hint: SUB-dermal).
Revelation 13:16-17, And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Remember, Psalm 112 says He will preserve His WORDS forever. There is a big difference between “on” and “in”.
I hope you’re excited about His coming! Let’s go tell someone. Lord Bless.
